This is a quick update about a few items happening around the Motorcycle Insight Communities S1000Riders.org, F800Riders.org, G450Riders.org, BMWSR.org, and BeemerScooter.org:
2010 F800 RIDERS GLOBAL RALLY ANNOUNCED

'Official' details about the 2010 F800 Riders Global Rally have been announced. This rally also celebrates the 5th Anniversary of the launch of F800Riders.org and it promises to be the largest F800 Rider ever.
  • Location: Fontana, NC
  • Date: October 1st and 2nd, 2010
  • Lodging: Fontana Village Resort - Hotel, Cabins, and Camping

Fontana, NC, for those who don't know, is located in the heart of the Great Smokey Mountains. It's located only foru miles from Deals Gap, the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway and other roads that this area 'motorcylcing paradise'.

More information, including details about the lodging, dining, registration, vendors, semenars, group rides, and a section for folks that will be attending from long distances has been posted up on F800Riders.org. Please take a look when you have a free moment, and I very much hope to see you there!

Shhh! Don't tell anyone, but we've upgraded the Garage to version 6.0! This new update now lets you track mileage of your motorcycle and fuel economy. The top motorcycle in the garage right now? 9,000 miles!

When you add a motorcycle to the garage, it automatically puts a link under your name in each post. Plus, you can insert pictures stored in your garage with two clicks during posting.

To date, nearly 600 of your friends and neighbors have added thier motorcycles and started tracking their motorcycle farkles. When you have a free moment, please consider joining them.

The final item in our forum update is a quick note letting you know that we'll be moving onto an upgraded server during new years eve / new years day. Total downtime will be approximately two hours, and it's needed due to a 'black box' project that we might be letting everyone know about in the January update!

Don't be alarmed if you get an upgrading message - we've got everything well in hand!
